I recently took a 1-day tour to Tangier where we were taken to a rug store and then a spice / herbalist shop. We were shown lipstick that changes colour, a cure for headaches that you smell, etc. I purchased a baggy of bright yellow spices – made up of 4 spices good for chicken and fish. Can someone tell me what these 4 spices are?

I’m making a wonderful fresh arugula ravioli, and I need ideas for the spices in my cream sauce. I like to add lemon zest to these dishes, but I want to try something new. Any ideas? A counterbalance or complement would be appreciated! Thanks community!

I cooked shripm the other day with a spicy tomatoe/onion sauce and added mushrooms too. I just put salt, pepper, a bit of basil, parsley and crushed red pepper. It came out good but could of used a bit more flavor. Any suggestions of what spices I can use to add a bit more flavor to the shrimp? Any suggestion would help.
